Amplifier Worship

On yesterday's recordings (22,23,24) i tried my new amp + speakercabinet for the first time and really like how it sounds. I now have a 1x15 cabinet as well. The comnibation of amp, speaker cabinets and effectpedals feels like a living organism to me: even if you have the same settings twice, the setup seems to sound different each time :D

It's a bit mysterious which element does what for the overall sound, but i really like what i hear. The gameboy is played over a sturdy bass amp as well, and the combined result of the two amps and all the electronics that we run through them is realy inspiring.

i'll say an extra prayer to the gods of amps and speaker tonight. thanks!

We recorded two new jams on sunday night: number 21 has some clean downtuned guitar, i love how it sounds in combination with the white-noisy electro layers.

I used my resurrected Les Paul for a load of distorted bottleneck slide playing on numer 20.

We are busy orgainizing an electronic music afternoon/evening at the moment as part of an electronic arts event. We're really looking forward to it, more details in the weeks to come.
